Difference between "water tight" and "water resistant"

•Water Tight - Things that are water tight don't allow water to ener it. Water can't never go inside it.

•Water Resistant - Some says that things that are water resistant won't allow water to enter it and it will still function even if it will get wet. But things that are water resistant, are things that water can enter and still, it's functioning.

*People need to know the difference because they might be shock because others think that water tight and water resistant have the same fuction. And this can help for those people who goes to swim wearing their watches that are water tight and resistant.
