The Ruins is located at Talisay City, Negros Occidental. It is an old house built at around 1940's. It was built by Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson, a very rich and noble man, for his wife Doña Maria Braga Lacson.
It was said that eggs were mixed with cement. That's why that when the sun shines through the mansion it looks like very bright and attractive to the eyes.
The sons and daughters of Don Mariano Lacson that have their own family is not allowed to live in the mansion anymore. That's why that Don Mariano has 13 children but there's only 9 room in there including the master's bedroom.
The structure was destroyed because it was said that the Japanese plans that they will make the mansion a hide-out and a military base.
There's also a fountain there which contains fishes. Flowers were also well landscaped. It's a very good place for photoshoots. The teleserye Ikaw Lamang of the ABS-CBN is also shoot in there.
In entering the place, there a fee of 50 pesos for adults and 40 pesos for students and senior citizens.
